Inspection

Quality inspection is an essential stage in BOPP packing tape production. Before finished rolls are packed and shipped, key product specifications and performance are checked to help ensure consistent quality and reliable carton sealing performance.

Inspection typically includes tape width, roll length, total thickness, adhesive coating, initial tack, peel adhesion, holding power, tensile strength and roll appearance. For custom printed BOPP tape, logo clarity, printing position, color consistency and pattern alignment are also carefully checked.

Finished rolls are visually inspected for issues such as wrinkles, uneven edges, telescoping, bubbles, contamination or damaged cores. Random samples may also be tested to confirm that the tape meets the required specifications before bulk packing.

A standardized inspection process helps reduce quality variation, improve customer satisfaction and ensure stable performance during manual dispensing, carton sealing and automatic packaging applications.
